Why the name Janus?

The month of January is named after the Roman god of doors, Janus, because this month is the door into the new year. Janus is also called the two-faced god. He represents all beginnings and possesses the ability to see the past and the future.

I chose the name as I want downsizing/ rightsizing to be seen in a positive light as a new beginning while acknowledging the past .

My Logo

My logo was designed by Kate O Moore from Maker. I wanted the colour purple to feature as in the meaning of colours, purple and violet represent the future , the imagination and dreams while spiritually calming the emotions. I wanted a house in the logo and my tag line to be “Moving Made Easy” She came up with the logo where the roof of the house is replaced by a hand enclosing the house and giving an impression of caring and safety.

 My mission

 Why ? The purpose

I believe that Rightsizing in senior years can be  a simple process by assisting with & aging in place, or helping with” Rightsizing” if a move is required to a new home more suitable for an older person’s needs.

How? The process.

I lift the burden of hard decision making by facilitating the moving of physical belongings but also by catering to the emotional aspects of the moving and downsizing process by working closely with the client and their family.

What? The result.

A smooth transition from the old home to the new one or a safer home to stay in.
